    Blackrock Loop

    Co Limerick

    Blackrock Loop in the Ballyhoura Mts, Co Limerick.  Leaving Nenagh @ 11 am., meeting at Kenyon St car park.   Leader: John 087-2744685

    The walk will start from the small village of Glenosheen, between Ardpatrick and Kildorrery, Co Cork. The walk is 11 km of 2.5-3hrs duration. The terrain will be forestry roads and woodland trails.

    Seefin Mt

    Seefin Mt

    The highest point of the walk is Seefin Mt 528 m., despite not being very high it offers views stretching to all counties in Munster. Other points of interest are the unusual Blackrock formation, a waterfall and the nature trail with interpretative signboards.

    We will take a stop at the renowned Ballyhoura mountain bike trails centre before finishing back at Glenosheen.
