Nenagh Hillwalking Club Walks Schedule Advice from Nenagh Hillwalking Club

Hello and welcome to the Aonach ar Siúl Walking Club website. Our club was founded in Nenagh in 2000. We promote hill walking in North Tipperary. We have over 80 members and are affiliated to Mountaineering Ireland. We have outings throughout the year. These include day walks in the Silvermines, Keeper Hill, Lough Derg, Arra Hills, Slieve Felim and Devil's Bit areas. We organise weekends away in other parts of Ireland such as Wicklow and Kerry. We have also made trips to the Pyrenees and the English Lake District. We organise a Tuesday evening walk throughout the year. In the winter months this takes place around Nenagh town. In the summer evenings we head for the local hills.

Prospective members are always welcome to join us for a free sample hike. Visitors to the area are also welcome to join us on our walks, but please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. As some of our walks cross farmland we ask that you leave the dog at home.

Annual Membership is now due. The application form can be downloaded below.
